Every year the Coastal Communities Concert Band presents a concert to raise money for Meals On Wheels. Some people bring their entire families, and others invite their whole neighborhood. Some have hosted a brunch, followed by the concert. A unique way to entertain grandparents, children, neighbors and friends, and a great way to get the holiday season started. Not only will you enjoy an afternoon of professional entertainment, first class music and heart-warming moments, but you’ll be supporting an organization that does so much important work for our community.
This concert sells out almost every year. No wonder…with ticket prices at $15 or less, everyone can afford to spend an afternoon in the glorious concert hall at the Center for the Arts. I’ll be on the right side of the conductor in the front row playing flute….or running back to the percussion section to play the piano. Hope to see you there!
Here’s a preview, recorded at our 2009 concert and featuring St. Timothy’s Choir. (I’m honored to be their choir director!)
